Have you also noticed that, at certain intervals—weekly, monthly, annually—the same questions keep cropping up in our lives?

This week, I observed how the dancers lead.

It wasn’t about the hands, or the arms… rather, I saw just how much they dared to be fully present.

Because leading isn’t about force, it isn’t about control, and it isn’t about saying, “I’ll tell you what to do.”

And following isn’t about subordination either.

In good dancing, there’s no hierarchy—just two people who, while taking on different roles, are present as equals.

Leading is an invitation, a subtle cue.

A way of communicating, “Come with me, I’ll show you something.”

And when the follower accepts this, that’s when the magic happens:

two people move as one, yet both remain themselves.

Perhaps that’s why I love the art of leading so much—

because in every dance there is a tiny, pure moment:
